a note

dear baby Isaac,

i haven't written to you in a while. i just wanted to tell you that i am madly in love with you and you're not even here yet! and one more thing, what the heck are you always doing in there? sometimes you just go, go, go for hours! like you're kick boxing with someone or wrestling. either way, it seems like you are entertaining yourself, which is good. if i were you, i'd be so bored in there all by myself. that's why sometimes i play with you. i like to shake you around and you always kick back! maybe you don't like that? :)

i have been doing so much around here lately in preparation for you. i signed up for a breastfeeding class and infant CPR. i want to make sure i'm prepared in case of an emergency! i've also been collecting a lot of clothes for you. you definitely won't be without in that area! i hope you don't mind that they're practically all hand-me-downs or from the thrift shop. you'll just have the same style as mama. i also went and registered for all the stuff i want for you: diapers, bed sheets, pacifiers, a thermometer, you know, the exciting stuff.. oh and some toys too.

anyways, truth is, you'll be here before we know it. and i'm really excited to meet you face to face.

Dear Isaac,

I started to feel you moving around this week! You are very active in there. You've kicked me a few times (which is very weird). I told your dad that it feels like someone is poking your tummy, but from the inside. I know it will just get stronger as the weeks go on. I grew a lot this week. It's pretty obvious that you are in there now. Unfortunately I haven't been able to see you in a while, but I will get to hear your little heart next week when I go to the doctor!
