We found out about you on Friday, May 14, 2010.

Your dad called me from Afghanistan and asked me to take a pregnancy test, so I did.

And guess what!? It said you were in there!!

This is the story of you in my tummy...

14 weeks

Jamie scanned my tummy today and you were waving!! You are 14 weeks and 2 days. Since you held up 4 fingers she thought it would be appropriate to write "look, i'm 4 months!" (which you actually won't be for a few more weeks, but who's counting?):

And another one:

This week we also went to the zoo and got alot of exercise!! Here are some pictures of me this week:

july 13

I had a regular checkup today. Nothing too exciting to report. I didn't get to see you, but I did get to hear your heartbeat for the first time!! It was so loud and very strong. The doctor said it was about 150 bpm. Still very good.

I love you!

12 weeks

12 weeks!! We are officially at the end of the first trimester. You are getting big quick. According to the book, you have doubled in size over the past 3 weeks! In this picture you have your little legs crossed and I think you're waving hello:

You are so beautiful! I can see all the features of your face; you nose, mouth, where your eyes are. Your finger nails are starting to grow, your body is already producing its own hormones, and you are moving! But, I can't feel you yet. But soon I'm sure, because you move alot! When we turned on the ultrasound machine and Jamie pressed on my tummy, you bounced around quite a bit.

11 weeks

Here you are at 11 weeks. I can see your head and your arm and your leg. You have gotten SOOO big since we saw you just 2 weeks ago! I can't believe how fast you grow. The pregnancy book says that you are about the size of a lime right now. And, you still have a little bit of a tail (which I can see in your picture :)

I had this ultrasound done because I was a little bit worried about you. But sometimes I'm just a little nuts. Your hearbeat was somewhere around 150 bpm, which is really strong and healthy.

a note from grandma

Your grandma left me this note and I put it on my bathroom mirror. I see it everyday and am reminded of how many people are praying for you!! We thank God for you every single day.
